What are the symptoms of Psoriatic arthritis?
Pain and swelling in multiple joints characterizes psoriatic arthritis.
If it affects the spine, one may have backache that is worse in the night, morning and after periods of rest. It may cause swelling of the digits (caused by inflammation of the digital joints and the tendons surrounding them). This is known as dactylitis.
Pain in the heels is caused by inflammation if the fascia in the heel. One can also have pain & swelling at the lower end of the Achilles tendon.
